Dr Xiaoqing WANG, Associate Professor

Dr. WANG joined the College of Science at Nanjing Forestry University in March 2019. She obtained her PhD in Department of Chemistry at University of Science and Technology of China in 2009, with research focus on the synthesis and assembly of functional nanomaterials for an understanding of design principles of complex structures in nanomaterials. She did her post-doctoral training at Division of Chemistry & Biological Chemistry, Nanyang Technological University, where she conducted research on assembly regulation of block polymers. Her research interest is focused on functional optical materials, and includes: (a) Development of novel organic molecular skeletons with long wavelength emission or absorption, (b) Fluorescence and photoacoustic imaging for characteristic molecules in life systems, and (c) Development of photothermal diagnostic and therapeutic agents.
